DETROIT MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A treasured holiday tradition is driving around to look at the decorations, and AAA of Michigan is advising those who partake to be wary of others who might be doing the same thing.
Adrienne Woodward of AAA says that making sure drivers are aware of what is around them can help make the tradition safer and more fun.
Woodward emphasizes that all in the vehicle should be buckled up and that drivers need to be cognizant of pedestrians, bicyclists, and small children who may be nearby.
In addition, not stopping in a traffic lane, and wearing proper clothing and gear in case of a roadside emergency, are also things to remember.
