CENTREVILLE, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office now have a Chaplain on their staff.
Undersheriff Jason Bingaman welcomed Chaplain Larry Humphreys to the Sheriff’s Office in June.
After training to be a Police Chaplain, Humphreys has volunteered his time to work with the public during any crisis that may arise, as well as assisting deputies during traumatic events.
Humphreys also volunteers as the Centreville Fire Department’s Chaplain.
Bingaman presented Humphreys with his official “Chaplain” badge on August 31.
