DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Drivers across Michigan are now paying an average of $4.84 a gallon to fill their gas tank.
Triple-A Michigan says that is an 11¢ increase from last week, 97¢ more than last month, and a $1.65 more than last year.
A 15-gallon fill up costs $73 on average in the state.
Michigan’s highest price is $4.92 in Jackson, and Marquette has the lowest price at $4.49.
In southwest Michigan, prices are lowest in Berrien County at $4.85, followed by Calhoun and Cass counties at $4.86, Allegan and Van Buren counties at $4.88, Kalamazoo and St. Joseph counties at $4.91, and Barry County is the highest at $4.95.
