SOUTH HAVEN TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A pilot was able to walk away after his small plane crashed after take-off in South Haven Township Monday morning.
South Haven Area Emergency Services says the pilot reported the plane lost power during the takeoff at the South Haven Regional Airport and the plane crashed into a field around 9:30 a.m. The plane is based out of Goshen, Indiana.
The South Haven Police Department also assisted at the scene, and the crash has been reported to the Federal Aviation Administration
