DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The price for a gallon of gas in Michigan is once again above $4.
Triple-A Michigan says the average price is up 20¢ a gallon in the past week to $4.15 since the price of oil rose following a restart of the war between the U.S. and Iran.
The price is up 11¢ from last month and is 99¢ more than last year.
Lansing has the state’s most expensive gas at $4.20 a gallon and Marquette has the lowest price at $4.05.
A 15-gallon tank costs $62 on average in Michigan.
In southwest Michigan, St. Joseph County has the lowest price at $4.08, followed by Cass County at $4.12, Calhoun County at $4.15, Berrien and Van Buren counties at $4.16, Allegan and Kalamazoo counties at $4.19, and Barry County at $4.28.
