Over one million Michiganders have cast ballot in August primary already

LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Over one-million Michiganders have cast their ballots already in the August 4th primary.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday for those who have not yet voted, and voters can only vote in one party’s primary.

They will make their choice for the Democratic and Republican parties for governor, the U.S. Senate, U.S. House, state House, and state Senate races.

Practical Political Consulting’s Mark Grebner says the absentee and early votes cast so far represent roughly 14% of active registered voters.
