EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State University is staying in-state for its new athletic director.
Western Michigan University athletic director Dan Bartholomae is making the move from Kalamazoo to East Lansing.
The 46-year-old replaces J Batt, who left for the AD position at Kentucky over the summer.
Bartholomae is considered a master fundraiser, who helped the Broncos rake in nearly 22-million-dollars during the past school year.
He’s also overseen a national championship in men’s hockey and a Mid-American Conference title in football.
