Kalamazoo’s Judge Pratt Justice Center evacuated due to bomb threat

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Judge Charles A. Pratt Justice Center in downtown Kalamazoo was evacuated Monday due to a bomb threat.

Police say the center was cleared around 1:30 p.m. after a bomb threat was called in.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office searched the building, using a Western Michigan University explosive detection K-9 and found no threats.

People were let back in around 4 p.m. and court dates that were set for yesterday afternoon are being rescheduled.
