KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) –There has been another robbery. This time the Food Co-op on Harrison Street was held up by a large black male who implied he had a gun and demanded the female cashier open the register and give him the cash.
It happened at about 8:30 Thursday night.
The clerk complied and the robber fled.
The robber was 6’4” about 250lbs. wearing a black hoodie and a white mask.
He struck the clerk in the face with his hand before leaving.
A K-9 track was unsuccessful.
