BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A women considered to Michigan’s oldest resident has passed away, one month after celebrating her Birthday.
Ellen Goodwill who lived at Advantage Living Center in Battle Creek was 114 years old.
Sharon Miller, who was a friend, described Ellen as a “lady of grace.”
Born in 1907 in Paris Kentucky as Ellen Lear, she settled in Battle Creek where her husband was being treated for injuries from World War II.
