STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – The cause of a house fire in Sturgis which broke out Sunday night is under investigation.
The Sturgis Fire Department says the blaze was reported at about 7:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Market Street.
The occupants of the home were outside by the time firefighters arrived.
The fire was contained to the living room and the attic but Deputy Fire Chief Andrew Strudwick says the water and smoke damage to the structure is extensive.
No injuries were reported.
