NEW YORK, NY (WTVB) – The NFL handed down some penalties Monday. Cleveland Browns general manager Ray Farmer was suspended four games by the league for violating rules prohibiting the use of electronic devices during games. Farmer used a cell phone during games last season to send text messages to the sideline.
The Atlanta Falcons were fined $350,000 and will have to forfeit a fifth-round pick in the 2016 Draft for using artificial crowd noise during home games for the last two seasons.
