SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Following several home invasions in northeast Calhoun County in late December, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office utilized the Special Response Team on Tuesday to execute a search warrant in the 17000 Block of 28 Mile Road in Sheridan Township.
New suspects and a lead were developed during the investigation into the home invasions.
To process the residence for evidence, the Calhoun Area Multi-Jurisdiction Evidence Team (CAMJET) was implemented with assisting team members from the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi Tribal Police and the Marshall Police Department.
The Sheriff’s Office says stolen property, narcotics and firearms were found and seized from the residence.
Criminal charges will be submitted to the Calhoun County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
