WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The Unites States is designating German-based Antifa Ost and three other groups in Italy and Greece as specially designated global terrorists, the U.S. Department of State said in a statement on Thursday.
The State Department intends to designate all four groups, which include the Informal Anarchist Federation/International Revolutionary Front, Armed Proletarian Justice and Revolutionary Class Self-Defense, as foreign terrorist organizations, it said.
