KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 27-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a shooting Saturday evening in Kalamazoo.
At approximately 7:00 p.m. officers with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to a report of a male shot in the 1300 block of East Vine Street. When they arrived, they found the man suffering from a gun shot wound to his leg. Initial medical aid was rendered on scene.
KDPS says a canvass for potential witnesses and evidence was conducted. They say the investigation remains in its early stages.
