BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — A missing-teenager from Battle Creek has been found after she left nearly a month ago.
15-year-old Lavonda Marriott-Miller was last seen on surveillance video at a foster care facility, piling into a car with two younger boys.
There had been speculation that she was kidnapped or was a victim of human trafficking, and much discussion about texts sent to her family, that didn’t seem to be written by her.
All we know is that she was found in Battle Creek at about 5pm, according to a brief press release from Battle Creek Police, which does not discuss her condition but thanks the public for their help in locating the girl.
