DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It’s a little less expensive to fill the gas tank to start this week.
Triple-A Michigan says the state’s average price is down 21¢ a gallon to $4.17, which is 61¢ more than last month and 99¢ more than last year.
A 15-gallon tank of gas costs $63 on average in Michigan, $12 more than the highest price in 2025 reached in August.
Michigan’s most expensive gas is in Ann Arbor at $4.25, and Flint has the least expensive gas at $3.95 a gallon.
In southwest Michigan, Calhoun County has the lowest price at $4.03, followed by St. Joseph County at $4.06, Kalamazoo County at $4.09, Allegan County at $4.15, Berrien County at $4.18, Van Buren County at $4.24, Cass County at $4.28, and Barry County at $4.29.
